Buy American Act (BAA)

Products That Meet The Buy American Act Standard

The Buy American Act, or BAA (US Code, Title 41, Section 10a-10d), compels the federal government to support American companies and workers by requiring its agencies to buy American-made goods wherever possible. The BAA restricts federal agency purchases of supplies and construction materials to domestic products, unless an exception or waiver applies. To meet the standard, manufactured articles must pass a two-part test: (1) the article must be manufactured in the United States, and (2) the cost of U.S. components must exceed 50% of the cost of all components in the item.

The MRSE Series is a hazardous-rated, heavy-duty floodlight suitable for the harshest environments. Designed to absorb shock and vibration, this fixture is perfect for earth moving machinery and heavy equipment.

PX Series - HID Explosion-proof

The PX Series is a High Intensity Discharge (HID) explosion-proof fixture. Suitable for use in chemical plants, refineries and other hazardous applications where vapors, gases and dusts are present.

VP - Incandescent and 9-32W Compact Fluorescent

The VP Series is a non-metallic, vapor-proof light designed for use in a wide variety of industrial environments. Typical applications include food processing areas, stairwells, elevator pits, pulp and paper processing areas, petro-chemical, and wastewater treatment plants. Lamp options are incandescent, compact fluorescent, and HID with integrated ballasts.

LFL - Heavy-duty, Low-Profile

The LFL Series is an enclosed and gasketed low-profile fluorescent fixture ideal for applications where space is limited. Typical uses include tunnel lighting, low ceiling applications, paper converting machinery, and commercial and offshore supply ships.

AMS/AMSR

The AMS/AMSR is an all-weather architectural accent light with special effects capabilities.

Compact Fluorescent Docklite Heads

The Modular Fluorescent docklite® Series has up to six times the lamp life compared to 150 watt dock lighting equipment. These fixtures are an excellent choice for loading docks where lower maintenance and better energy efficiency are required.

DLX - Explosion-proof Docklite

The DLX Series, Explosion Proof model, are ideal for task lighting in hazardous environments, including Class I Division 1 areas. Available with incandescent, high pressure sodium, and metal halide heads.

DWT - Wet Location Docklite

The DWT Series is a Wet-Location model that's ideal for use outdoors or in wet indoor environments. Available with incandescent, high pressure sodium, and metal halide heads.

IC Series - General Application

The IC Series offers four reflector options and a choice of HID lamps in a heavy-duty, general-application floodlight, the perfect fixture for various work and play areas including athletic fields, industrial yards, construction sites and parking lots.

IR - Impact Resistant Docklite

The IR Series is ideal for ceiling mount applications. Swivel mounting and spring suspension allow this fixture to swing out of the way when struck, then return instantly to the original position.

KL Series - Heavy-duty

The KL Series is a quality high intensity discharge floodlight suitable for use in a wide variety of industrial applications. Featuring four reflector options and a choice of HID lamps the KL is ideal for use in industrial yards, port and shipping yards, or other rough service applications.

LFAR - Hazardous Rated

The LFAR Series is a hazardous rated, marine-listed, two-lamp fluorescent fixture available in 2' or 4' configurations. It is designed to withstand corrosive and high-vibration environments.

LFB - Indoor Fluorescent Berth Light

The LFB Series is an interior below-deck fluorescent fixture used for berth/mirror lighting.

LFP - Wet Location Fluorescent

The LFP is a two lamp wet location fluorescent fixture designed to withstand the rigors of frequent high-pressure hosedowns. Typical applications include meat, seafood or poultry processing plants, dairy facilities, and industrial hosedown areas.

LFT - Recessed T-Bar

The LFT Series is an Interior T-Bar mounted fluorescent fixture used for below deck marine lighting and low ceiling applications where T-Bar mounting is required.

Light Duty Double Strut (LDDS) Modular Arm

The Light Duty Double Strut Modular docklite® Arm is the newest addition to the Phoenix Modular arm line. This unit provides all the same benefits of a double strut arm while using a lighter weight construction. The Light Duty Double Strut arms can support the weight of any one Phoenix Products modular heads and one modular, three-speed fan.

MF Series - Stainless Steel HID

The MF Series is an ideal fixture for marine applications where corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and durability are demanded.

MFC Series - Marine-rated

The MFC Series is a weatherproof marine floodlight designed to withstand harsh environments. The fixture is sealed and gasketed to keep moisture and saltwater out.

The MG is an outdoor-rated, above-ground luminaire for flood, spot, narrow spot, and wallwash applications.

MG Mini

The MG Mini is a low profile, outdoor-rated, above-ground luminaire for flood, spot, and wallwash applications. Design integrity is secure with unique adjustable aiming assembling, even during relamping.

Modular Docklite Heads and Arms

The Modular docklite® is made of modular components for greater flexibility and lower costs. The fixture is ideal for illuminating trucks, trailers and railcar environments.

MRS 64/1000 Series - Super-rough Service

The MRS 64/1000 Series is a super-rough service fixture that can withstand abusive shock and vibration environments. Applications include, wet location floodlighting, above-deck marine lighting, industrial areas, and railroad yards.

MS 500 Q/QH Series - Quartz Halogen

The MS 500 Q/QH Series floodlight is tough enough for the most demanding environments. It is UL approved for Marine Outside Saltwater service. Typical applications are saltwater environments, mining vehicles, architectural wall washing, fishing boats and helicopter landing pads.

MS HID Series - Heavy-duty

The MS HID Series has an integral ballast and fits nearly anywhere light is needed. Marine rated for Outside Saltwater and for Hazardous Class 1 Div 2 environments. The heavy duty construction ensures its durability for rough Marine or Industrial applications. Typical uses are Workboat Deck Lighting, Seaside Environments and Architectural Wall or Accent lighting where heavy construction is deemed appropriate to resist vandalism.

Phoenix 115

The Phoenix 115 is an outdoor-rated Framing and Gobo Projector; introduced in 2007.

Polymer docklite Heads

Polymer docklite® heads are made with a heat-resistant polymer accomodating an incandescent lamp up to 250 watts and self-ballasted compact fluorescent lamp.

PSL - Incandescent Searchlight

The PSL Series is an incandescent searchlight with up to 4.6 million candlepower, used in marine and security applications.

SLX Series - Explosion-proof

The SLX Series is an hazardous location rated fixture. An extensive lamp selection and integral ballast make this adjustable fixture extremely versatile. Typical applications include; Wastewater Treatment Plants, Refinery Tanks, Oil and Gasoline Loading docks, Tunnel Projects, Utility Gas Plants, Coal Pulverizing Facilities, Munitions Storage Areas, Power Plant Areas, Hazardous Dust Areas, and Mining Conveyor Belts.

SLXP Series - Portable Explosion-proof

The SLXP Series fixture is hazardous location rated Class 1, Class 2, Class 3 Div. 1, and Marine rated for outside saltwater usage. An extensive lamp selection and integral ballast make this adjustable fixture extremely versatile. Typical applications include gasoline storage tanks, petroleum refining facilities, paint and chemical storage areas, pipeline pumping stations, garage maintenance pits, tank inspection and cleaning, printing operations, aircraft maintenance, fire fighting sites, grain storage facilities and cargo hold areas.

VP - 42W Compact Fluorescent

The VP Series is a vaporproof fluorescent light designed for use in a wide-variety of industrial environments. Multiple mounting and other options are available. Typical applications include food processing areas, stairwells, elevator pits, pulp and paper processing areas, petro-chemical, and waste water treatment plants.

VPH - HID

The VPH Series is a high intensity discharge, vaporproof light designed for use in a wide variety of industrial and marine environments. Multiple mounting and other options are available. Typical applications include food processing areas, stairwells, elevator pits, pulp and paper processing areas, petro-chemical, and waste water treatment plants.
